Take the Skiing Business Stache Dash challenge to get hairy for charity.
The Skiing Business Stache Dash raises money for cancer research as part of Movember. So start clean shaven on Nov. 1, and see what crumb-catching masterpiece you can create in a month.
Through Facebook, upload your photos to show off your stache evolution. We’ll use the pictures in our party slideshow. When you upload your crumb-catcher photos, make sure to mention @Skiing Business in your post.
And show off your upper lip hair on Twitter and Instagram by mentioning @SkiingBusiness and using #StacheDash.
The team that raises the most money will be crowned king of the stache and be presented with an award at the Skiing Business Industry Awards party in Denver, Thursday, Jan. 31 (the first night of the SIA show). We’ll also create a slideshow of the moustache progression based on pictures you upload via social media.
Movember is a charitable organization that raises money and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer research through the growth of the male insignia, the moustache. Movember operates through businesses to raise money by encouraging each employee to get sponsors for his stache, and asking these sponsors, family and friends, to donate to the charity in support of it.
The Skiing Business Stache Dash brings Movember to the ski industry. The Stache Dash unites businesses while encouraging a healthy dose of competition to see which team can raise the most money. The competition is open to ski industry brands, retailers, team athletes, sales reps, resorts, media and any other ski industry professional. Remember, getting customers and fans included in sponsoring your stache is a great way to increase donations and boost brand marketing.
